In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
We found our music video both challenging forms of conventions and also matching them. After researching various music videos using Prezi which you can view here. We tried taking elements from certain music videos which we thought would benefit our own music video through matching the same shots used and colours used. We also attempted to break certain conventions through our theme of playfulness where we show the band playing around having fun showing a more intimate side of the members allowing for the viewers to see another side of them. Examples are shown on the right where we have shots of the band playing around outside with bubbles and having fun revealing a different side to them.
